8.15.2026 Plumber Renewal HELP!

You will not be able to renew your plumber’s license this year unless you have 8 hrs documented CE credit. Plumbers are the last group in the process of converting over to GOALS, and 3rd for the CE Broker program. We have been through this with the GCs and Electricians and have learned a lot about the programs.
Sherri and I, put this guide together to help you renew your contractor license.
Set up GOALS

Click VERIFY if you have pin from previous SOS email or click RESEND PIN, enter your email, it will send you one.
Verify information- GOALS is how you will renew and communicate with SOS Office.
Renewal tab will walk you through process. Same questions as usual re: citizenship, trouble with law enforcement, bankruptcy, etc. Those are same as always.
You can reach the SOS office at 404-424-9966 if you need any help with GOALS.
Renewals will be blocked until CE requirements are satisfied, and documented on:
CE Broker – platform for compliance of hours earned, class must be posted here to audit hours taken.

Run through GET Started – to set up account.
NOTE there is a FREE version that will do all you need. The 39.99 package may be helpful if you are licensed in other states that also use CEBroker-- but start simple, you can upgrade later.
You can upload scanned training certificates to prove hours earned. Classes have to be after 12.1.2024. If you are uploading a class taken with us, please use Seminar format, we are a Professional Association; use “GA Licensed Trades - Mike Paino”, as name.
Current Fall and online class certificates will be emailed to you in pdf format, to make uploading them a breeze.
We have a special 8 hr, “make up” class online, at a small discount, if you need all 8 now.
